Crochet Dog Shelter Owning a pet provides a devoted companion and a lifetime of memories. However for Monique, she felt her Border Collie "Colon" was in need of a shelter from the summer sun, but also covering from the pine pitch which seemed to always find it's way onto his fur. Because this area already had a limited natural shelter from the sun, and was the ideal "cool" area for him. Unfortunately the 60' tall pine adjacent to his wire fence pen constantly dropped pine pitch into his area. My goal was to install a fenced-in-shelter to solve the issue
