Pleasant St Door here we have an entry door that simply will not keep the cold air out, and it is time upgrade to a more energy efficient entry door. I'll be installing the Therma-Tru Smooth Star fiberglass door, Model S608. The goal is to remove the existing door slab and retro-fit an entire entry with frame after slightly modifying the door opening. Should go in perfectly!
Door as it is now. Door slab out, time to modify opening to fit new door.
With opening now modified, time to caulk the sill. Now the opening is ready for a new entry door.
Door is now secured and ready for trim work.
