Higgins Beach Porch Remodel
We arrived at this project facing sliding windows that no
longer would slide. All the windows had a film from having a
broken seal, and so this diminished the view considerably.
All support timbers beneath had rooted along with various
areas in the floor on the inside. Our goal.....To replace
the support posts, and install new windows and a new entry
door.... Patch the siding at the front of the house and
install new "Certainteed Cedar Impressions" vinyl
siding..... Also, add a tapered underside of the Bay
Window.... We then stripped the interior walls of old cedar
shakes and installed T&G Pine throughout the interior.
Although we are unable to furnish the "Before & In Progress"
pictures, we do have the final product to share with you.
