Having been established in Maine during the Spring of 2003, CrossWorks Carpentry has served Greater Portland and surrounding areas ever since, with exceptional customer service, dependability, and integrity.  I started my venture into carpentry 26 years ago, and over those years I've acquired a wealth of knowledge in not only the new construction aspect of building, but also gained knowledge in commercial work, extensive remodeling, and materials sales. Carpentry has become a passion for me, and a desire for excellence in workmanship  "second nature".

Feel free to explore the hundreds of pictures found on my website, which will show mostly "before", "during" and "after" pictures of most all my projects.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you will be encouraged based on what you have seen to inquire about my services for your next project!

[Regarding "EPA Lead-Safe Certification" Law]

According to the Environmental Protection Agency and US governing bodies, as of April 22, 2010 all contractors involved in home renovations to homes dated from 1978 and prior, will be required to undergo training and certification of the newly enacted and government mandated Lead Abatement Program. This new law which takes affect at the end of April "may" greatly increase the expense to contractor's and homeowners alike when doing future renovations.

As the sole proprietor of CrossWorks Carpentry, I have elected to "forgo" undertaking any work which will involve the disturbance of lead paint to homes on either the exterior and/or interior. I want to apologize in advance to any of my past customers and prospective customers alike for any inconvenience this may cause in your future plans for home improvement.

For when it comes to finding a particular Molding to match an existing early 20th century style molding, I feel these following local suppliers are capable of finding, or even producing what you may be looking for.

When choosing Cabinets, Home Depot as well as Lowe's offer the following manufactures. However, there are many other sources for cabinets in the Portland area, Home Depot is just one option. I recommend you consider all options. Here are some links to a few cabinets makers:

Here we have some other links to Building Material websites, that will help  you find and understanding building products and their uses. From here you can navigate to  manufactures of many types of products.
